Promising Practice Replication Award

The ArtREACH Toolkit was funded by MetLife Foundation in partnership with the Association of Children's Museum as part of the Promising Practice Replication Award presented to Young At Art Children's Museum in 2008.

The ArtREACH Toolkit is a step-by-step on-line manual that guides the field of children's museums nationwide in the creation of a successful after school program for students living in area homeless shelters. Young At Art's commitment to provide equal opportunity for children and families in need began with a 2 year pilot program funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and has grown to a full time center operating in partnership with the Broward County School System.
