On 11.7 acres of land at 112th Avenue and I-595, the new arts and education complex will encompass Young At Art, a 42,000 square foot children's museum along with a new 20,000 square foot Broward County Library.

Young At Art will include:

  • Alice's Adventures in Wonderland- An early childhood education center where children develop motor skills through art and play experiences.
  • Global Village- An authentic multi-cultural trek where children are immersed in sights, sounds, artifacts, people and places from around the world.
  • Earthworks Exhibition Hall- An exciting hands-on exhibit that demonstrates the importance of ecology, how to become stewards of the earth and how children can clean up the environment through art.
  • Masters Signature Exhibition Hall- A journey through time that leads visitors through pre-historic caves and famous artists' studios while providing hands-on experiences that highlight the history of the world through art.
  • National Touring Exhibition Hall- A designated space that showcases traveling exhibits from across the nation.

Other museum highlights include:

  • The Young At Art Institute- Professionally equipped and staffed studios and outdoor spaces for photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, painting, and drawing. Resident artists and museum educators will offer art classes to people of all ages and abilities.
  • Teen Center- A gathering place and base for teens to enjoy art classes, music and a recording studio. The center, developed with input from the museum's Teen Advisory Board, will help teenagers of our community utilize art as a healthy outlet for self expression
