This awesome interactive exhibit celebrates the rich and colorful cultures of our world. Make a passport, then write stories...create music and art to discover that for all our little differences we also have a lot in common!
This spectacular exhibit takes you to the far corners of the Earth...visit an African Village... take part in an Archeological Dig in Israel... learn the ancient art of origami in a Japanese house...discover a Mayan Pyramid and stroll through a Latin American marketplace! Exhibits focus on cultural, historical and aesthetic awareness and tolerance.

"Go green" and climb aboard a giant Recycle Truck to clean-up with art! Team-up at the Recycle Sorting Center and learn how to Recycle Right as you gain a better under- standing of Broward County's four-part system for managing solid waste: recycling, minimizing waste, burning waste and landfill use. Your special visit includes an exciting creative arts workshop where you'll make paper and trace the history of this ancient craft.
 Step into the "Pop-Surrealistic" world of internationally recognized artist, Kenny Scharf! Psychedelic day-glo black light environments become inspiration for creativity as students use their imaginations to "customize" objects into works of art. An "artist in residence" program with Kenny Scharf at Young At Art culminates with this exciting permanent closet installation based on his series shown in museums around the world - including the Guggenheim and Whitney Museum of Art.

Playspace for Toddlers is Young At Art's special gallery for our youngest visitors and Raceways provides hands-on fun and exploration of movement. Special Mom & Tot classes take place in Playspace with everyone's favorite early childhood specialist, Ms. Penny.
