As we approach our 17th year, the size and scope of Young At Art has evolved...and will continue to as we work to enhance the vision of what a dynamic children’s art and culture museum should be.

We’ve made a home for our community here — where parents, grandparents and caregivers spend each day in a safe, educationally stimulating environmentthat encourages high achievement while fostering an understanding of the multi-cultural dimensions of our world.

We’ve worked to be inclusive in our programming. In the past year alone more than 1,000 Head Start preschool children have been admitted free of charge, while hundreds of homeless children have been served through our special “Reconnecting Parents and Children” program. More than a hundred scholarships have opened doors for low-income children to attend classes at the Young At Art Institute. Almost 200,000 children and adults have experienced Passport to Africa and other Outreach programs, reaching into the heart of Broward County schools, community centers and inner city neighborhoods.

We foresee exceptional years ahead — but can continue to grow only with your help.
