Classroom Outreach
We bring
the magic of the Museum to you!
Children in grades Pre K-12 enjoy the excitement of hands-on learning in your classroom.
We supply all necessary materials accommodating a class of up to 30 children of all capabilities.
Each program includes an online Educator's guide with activities aligned with Florida's Sunshine State
Standards. Classroom teachers must be present during all programs.
Instructional time per session: 60 minutes

Choose date and time according to your individual
class needs.
Young at Art staff must
be scheduled in one indoor central location
with
access to a sink. A school official or classroom teacher must be present
at all times.

Payment for Outreach Programs
Balance-in-full must be paid in cash/check/credit card 5 days BEFORE the day we visit your school.
Young At Art personnel will not accept payment.
Cost
2 Sessions = $200 each; 3 Sessions = $190 each; 4 Sessions= $180 each
Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Martin Counties add $75 travel fee.
Assembly Outreach Performances
Chisseko Kondowe
- Passport to Africa (All grades:We will customize program for your age group)
Join Artist in Residence, Chisseko of Kenya and share an insder's view of daily life in a traditional East African village. This interactive program engages participants through art, music, artifacts, language and storytelling..
- Rhythms of Life (All grades:We will customize program for your age group)
All musical performance by Chisseko of Kenya will tranport students 8,000 miles away to a small village where a welcoming concert is about to begin.You will listen to the kalimba, congas, flute, talking drum, shaker and chigubu. Before you know it you will be out of your seat dancing and singing Harambee!
Includes Chisseko's newly-released CD "Jungle Jazz."

$325 for 1 hour. $225 for 2nd consecutive hour. CD included

Community & Corporate Outreach Programs
Bring the excitement of hands-on arts learning through our traveling programs to your library, hospital, church/synagogue, community center, office or festival!
- Art Workshop: Custom art activity 4-hour workshop $600. Each additional consecutive hour $100 All Materials included.
- NEW! Corporate Team Building Sessions: 2-Hour collaborative art activity. $25/ person with min. of 25 participants.
- NEW! Corporate Diversity Training Workshop: 2.5 hour corporate training sessions includes a private performance by Kenyan Artist-In-Residence Chisseko Kondowe and a unique hands-on Art Reflections Workshop. $500 for 50 participants. $5.00 each for additional participant.
