Outreach Programs Classroom Outreach We bring the magic of the Museum to you! Children in grades Pre K-12 enjoy the excitement of hands-on learning in your classroom. We supply all necessary materials accommodating a class of up to 30 children of all capabilities. Each program includes an online Educator's guide with activities aligned with Florida's Sunshine State Standards. Classroom teachers must be present during all programs. Join Artist in Residence, Chisseko of Kenya and share an insder's view of daily life in a traditional East African village. This interactive program engages participants through art, music, artifacts, language and storytelling.. - Rhythms of Life (All grades:We will customize program for your age group)
All musical performance by Chisseko of Kenya will tranport students 8,000 miles away to a small village where a welcoming concert is about to begin.You will listen to the kalimba, congas, flute, talking drum, shaker and chigubu. Before you know it you will be out of your seat dancing and singing Harambee! Includes Chisseko's newly-released CD "Jungle Jazz." Cost $325 for 1 hour. $225 for 2nd consecutive hour.
