Immersive Learning Environment!

At YAA we create an environment infused with excitement and interaction, integrating art into educational activities that provide endless amounts of fun…and learning.

The museum offers Fieldtrips, Classroom Outreach, Art Workshops, Assembly Performances and Community Outreach tailored for each age group and grade level.

All programs integrate the Florida Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards in the content areas of English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Language and Fine Arts.

Book a FREE Fieldtrip or Outreach using the Broward County Public Schools’ Supplemental Arts and Science Programs Fund. Ask your School Principal or Bookkeeper for details.

 Field Trips
• Maximum 150 students per group; Minimum 20 students per group
• Students are divided 35 per group
• YAA encourages students to wear name tags and/or school t-shirts
• Late arrivals are subject to shortened program or cancellation
• Please divide students into groups of 35 before arrival

Chaperones
PreK - 1st Grade: 1 free adult per 5 students
2nd grade +: 1 free adult per 10 students. Additional adults: $9.50
Chaperones of special needs: Free

Lunch
If you are interested in having lunch at the museum, choose either
the Masterpiece or Museum Exploration Package

Art Pack
To extend the learning to the classroom after your fieldtrip add a
Classroom Art pack for $75 Includes enough materials for 25 students.

Please have the following information ready when calling:
• 3 preferred dates
• Number of students & chaperones
• Grade level
• School name, address, email, phone & fax number
• Bookkeeper & contact teacher’s name, phone number & email address
• Young At Art Museum is pleased to provide accommodations for special
 needs children; communicate your needs at the time of reservation
• Ask your Principal or Bookkeeper for a FREE Field Trip or Outreach
  using Broward County Schools Arts and Sciences Supplemental Fund
 Payment
• A non-refundable & non-transferable 20% deposit is due within
  10 business days of reserving your program
• Field trips require a minimum of 20 students per group. If your group is
  20 or less you will still be responsible for payment of 20 students
•  A Deposit is required to book your date. You may pay by
  cash, check, credit card or PO# for City and County Organizations
•  Your Outreach and/or Field Trip balance must be paid by
  cash, check, credit card 5 business days BEFORE your program
•  If your Field trip balance is paid with a PO# you will receive a
  final invoice on the day of visit. Balance must be mailed immediately
  along with a copy of final invoice
•  Your Outreach balance paid with a PO# must be mailed along with
  a copy of invoice 5 business days BEFORE your program
• For rescheduling, cancellation or changes in final count you must
  contact us at least 2 weeks BEFORE your program
• If your Field trip group contains less than the reserved number
  of students you are still required to pay the full amount

 When You Arrive
• YAA staff will greet you at the Main Entrance School Bus Drop-off
• Final payments must be made at Guest Services prior to your field trip
• Groups should already be divided into 30-35 when you arrive
• Depending on the number of participants, your group may be divided • We encourage your students to wear nametags during their visit
• Please arrive on time. Call to let our staff know if you are running late.
  *Late arrivals are subject to a shortened field trip or cancellation

YAA offers engaging programs developed especially for homeschool families. Each one relates to museum exhibits and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, providing unique, hands-on, inquiry-based learning activities that encourage communication and collaboration. Bring Young At Art Museum to your classroom!

We customize our programs for each grade level and supply all materials for a class of up to 30 students of all capabilities. Each YAA Classroom outreach program includes an introductory educational digital presentation and a creative hands-on art activity integrated with Common Core Standards and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.

Art's Alive
An early childhood program for students 3-5 years old that promotes better health and lifelong learning through literacy, physical movement and art based learning activities. Developed through funding from Coventry Health Care of Florida.

Cost
$540 for 2 sessions; $630 for 3 sessions; $760 for 4 sessions

• Sessions must be consecutive; minimum of 2 sessions per day
• Maximum 30 students per session; each additional student is $9
• Duration: 60 minutes per session. All materials included
• YAA staff must set up and remain in only 1 room for productivity
• Provide an indoor room with sink & table/chairs for all students
• Classroom teacher/school official must be present at all times
• Miami Dade, Palm Beach and Martin Counties add $75 travel fee
