At YAA we create an environment infused with excitement and interaction, integrating art into educational activities that provide endless amounts of fun…and learning.

Our field trip programs integrate Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards.

Museum Exploration (Preschool)
An interactive play-to-learn tour of ArtScapes and GreenScapes galleries including a hands-on art activity.

Cost: $9.50 per student
Duration: 90 minutes

Architecture Tours (6-12, College)
Cost: $9.50 per student
Duration: 90 minutes
Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:45, 11:30
Guided tour of the museum with a focus on LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) elements of the building. Tour is concluded with an architectural drawing activity.

Groups may reserve tables and chairs in the YAA front courtyard to seat up to 100. There is a $20 facility fee to reserve the lunch area.

Field Trip Information
• Cost (per student): $9.50 Museum Exploration; $3.00 Creative Art Workshop Add-On; $3.50 Assembly Performance Add-On
Times: Museum Exploration: Monday - Friday 9:45am, 11:30am, 1:15pm and 3pm.
Architecture Tours: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:45am - 11:30am
• Maximum 150 students per group; Minimum 20 students per group
• Students are divided 35 per group
• Chaperones: PreK - 1st, 1 free adult per 5 students; 1st grade & Up - One free adult per 10 students; additional chaperones - $9.50 per adult; chaperones of special needs - free
• YAA encourages students to wear name tags and/or school t-shirts during their visit • Please arrive on time. Late arrivals are subject to shortened program or cancellation • To ensure speedy check-in, divide students into groups of 30-35 BEFORE your arrival • Lunch: Groups may reserve tables and chairs in the YAA front courtyard to seat up to 100. To schedule your field trip, call our Reservations Office at 954-424-5030 or email reservations@YoungAtArtMuseum.org.

Please have the following information ready:
• 3 preferred dates
• Number of students & chaperones
• Grade level
• School name, address, email, phone & fax number
• Bookkeeper & contact teacher’s name, phone number & email address
• Young At Art Museum is pleased to provide accommodations for special needs children; communicate your needs at the time of reservation
• Ask your school’s Principal or Bookkeeper for a FREE Field Trip or Outreach using
Broward County Public Schools Arts and Sciences Supplemental Fund
 Payment
• A 20% non-refundable & non-transferable deposit is due within 10 business days of reserving your program
• Field trips require a minimum of 20 students per group. If your group is 20 or less you will still be responsible for payment of 20 students
• Deposit is required to book your date. You may pay by cash/check/credit card or PO# for City/County Organizations
• Your balance must be paid by cash/check/credit card 5 business days on the day of your program
• If your Field trip balance is paid with a PO# you will receive a final invoice on the day of visit. Balance must be mailed immediately along with a copy of final invoice
• For rescheduling, cancellation or changes in final count you must contact us at least 2 weeks BEFORE your program
• If your Field trip group contains less than the reserved number of students you are still required to pay the full amount

 When You Arrive
• YAA staff will greet your group at the School Bus Drop-off at the main entrance
• Final payments must be made at Guest Services prior to your field trip
• To ensure speedy check-in, divide students into groups of 30-35 BEFORE your arrival
• Depending on the number of participants, your group may be divided into separate groups
• We encourage your students to wear nametags during their visit
• Please arrive on time. If you’re running late, please call to let our staff know. Late arrivals are subject to a shortened field trip or cancellation
 Just for Teachers
• Stop by and visit the exhibit galleries and art studios in which your students will be taking part. Just present your valid school district or teacher’s union identification card and teachers receive free admission to the museum courtesy of Brightstar Credit Union

 Homeschool
YAA offers programs developed especially for homeschool families. Our engaging programs relate to museum exhibits and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, providing unique, hands-on, inquiry-based learning activities that encourage communication and collaboration.
