YAA: Your Educational Resource

YAA has been serving Broward County Schools since 1989 as a resource dedicated to providing inspiring, interactive, experiences in which art is central to shaping young minds and enriching our community. In 2012, YAA opened its new state-of-the-art facility and serves more than 30,000 students annually through school programs alone. All of our programs integrate Florida's Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards in the content areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Languages and Fine Arts.

Young At Art's educational programs use art-making, creative problem solving, exploration, and discovery to foster a student's imagination. Our programs are informed by principals of child development, inquiry theory, and both formal and informal educational theories. By expanding their artistic and cultural horizons at Young At Art, students of all ages will become global artists and critical thinkers.

 Free Programs for Broward Schools
Imagine a place where your students can engage in fun, hands-on activities to learn about art, culture, and the environment. Now you don't have to imagine it anymore. Young At Art Museum (YAA) has many exciting programs to choose from and you can experience all these programs for FREE!

The Broward County School District has allotted each school approximately $2,400 through the Supplemental Arts and Science Program Fund to provide financial support for you to enjoy field trips and outreach programs from selected cultural organizations. YAA is proud to be included in the fund and the money allotted to your school must be used by the end of each school year. Ask your bookkeeper or school principal for more information.
