Young At Art Museum recognizes the diversity of our visitors abilities and needs, and offers services to ensure the accessibility of the Museum and its programs.
All public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible. The main Museum entrance is equipped with a power assist door.

Wheelchair Accessibility
Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis and are located in the Museum lobby. Motorized wheelchairs are permitted within the Museum. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on the first floor and a single-use/family restroom is also located on the first floor.

Visual Impairments
Access doors to major areas including Art Studios, Teen Center, Preschool, Store and Offices are available in Braille. Museum exhibits are tactile and may be touched. Service dogs are welcome.

In partnership with University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), YAA has developed special programs and events for children and adults with autism or other sensory integration sensitivities. YAA staff has been trained by CARD, with each Museum program carefully planned and structured to provide the best possible museum experience for all visitors.
