For more than a decade, some of Broward’s most dedicated community leaders have contributed to Young At Art Museum through its Women of Vision. Chaired in its inception by then Broward County Commissioner Lori Parrish, and continuing to this day through the leadership of Broward County Commissioner Lois Wexler, the Women of Vision have been the foundation for the growth of Young At Art into the cultural icon it is today in its new 55,000 sq. ft., $21 million complex. Each February we celebrate the contribution of this dedicated group of women with a luncheon, honoring a prominent woman in the community. Their ongoing support is recognized in etched bricks along the Women of Vision Pathway in the museum’s Courtyard.
