Take part in exciting workshops led by YAA Art Institute Educators in a creative environment. Learn about new artists and media each week in YAA's state-of-the-art studios for ceramics, printmaking, cartooning and film, digital and darkroom photography, mixed media, drawing and painting!

Get in on the fun with your little one!

$5 per parent/child pair per workshop

Parents/caregivers and their budding artists get messy and have fun with paint, mixed media, sensory activities and more. Every day is different and includes story-time and a take away mini masterpiece!

Join us for fun and engaging art making! Experience limitless opportunities in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and darkroom experimentation. *Last Pass sold at 4pm.

Sunday Wonderful Wheel Experience
Every Second - Fifth Sunday | 11-2pm (drop In)
$15 per person | Ages 5+ (with a parent)

Take a spin on the ceramics potter’s wheel! Join us for this fun, unique, & messy hands on experience. Pick up your fired masterpieces in 2 weeks!

Teen Decoden Phone Case Workshop
7-8:30pm (pre-registration required) | Ages 13-18
Decoden is a Japanese term for decorating a phone case generally with rhinestones and small objects in a variety of designs, styles and materials! Get together with your friends for an evening of fun, making your very own Kawaii Decoden Phone Case during Teen Night.

Adults (18+)

Mix and mingle with your own refreshments (BYOB)
while creating an original work of art.


Clay Mixer
Third Friday of every month | 6-8pm
$35 per person (all materials included)

Gather your friends or make new ones for a creative evening on the potter’s wheel with instruction from a professional artist! Mix and mingle with your own refreshments (BYOB) while creating an original work of art. Beginners and artists of all skill-sets are welcome in this relaxed, evening ceramics session so bring your creativity or get ready to learn.


Linocut Printmaking Mixer
6-8pm | $20 per person (all materials included)
Discover an age old art form and give it a modern twist. Carve out your own design from a linoleum block and print your image with block printing inks. Bring your friends and enjoy a fun and enjoyable evening led by our teaching artists. Beginners welcome.


Paint & Wine Nights
6-8pm | $25 per person (all materials included)
Create an original painting with the guidance of Young At Art Museum’s fun and instructive staff at local restaurants. Get your friends together or plan a unique date for this creative night out you won't soon forget!

Build Your Own Workshop!

Want to build your own workshop? Choose from any of the above workshop options or get creative and suggest your own! The Young At Art Institute will assist you in organizing a spectacular program in one of our art studios to accomodate your needs.

•  Must be planned minimum of 4 weeks in advance of desired date
•  Minimum of 10 Guests
•  Choose your date and time (some dates not available)
